Proctor Restaurants

Exploring the Proctor neighborhood in Tacoma, WA, you'll find a delightful array of dining options that cater to various tastes and budgets. Here's a guide to some standout eateries in the area: These are in the order of my personal favorites. 

Peaks & Pints: Situated at 3816 N 26th St, this spot is perfect for beer enthusiasts. It boasts an impressive selection of 23 beers on tap and 600 different canned and bottled beers, along with great sandwiches in a comfortable and inviting setting. Great local owners who care about people, food and the neighborhood. 

Toast Mi: Located at 2602 N Proctor Street, this is a great spot! Fast and fresh sandwiches & salads. Great for dine in or take out! They also offer sandwich platters for events! 

Millhouse: Located at 2515 N Proctor Street, this recent addition to the Proctor restaurants. Great pizza and a great environment. From regular delicious pies to gluten free. 

Waffle Stop: Located at 2710 N Proctor Street, it is a wonderful breakfast spot. They offer a wide variety of waffles ranging from the classics to Bacon Cookie Butter waffles. It is more than just waffles they have all kinds of breakfasts.  

Viva: Vegan Cuisine at 2620 N Proctor serving up tasty vegan food. Great appetizers and meals ranging from nachos to Chick Un Alfredo.

Metropolitan Market (Hot Counter) Bistro: Located at 2420 N Proctor St, this bistro offers a selection of gourmet meals in a convenient, casual setting, ideal for a quick lunch or dinner. You can dine in the covered outdoor seating area.

Manny's : Located at 3814 North 26th Street. Serving breakfast, and lunch from 8am to 2pm. This place has all of the northwest standard cuisine.  

Knapp's Restaurant: A classic neighborhood diner located at 2702 N Proctor St, offering a comforting selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and an extensive breakfast menu. It's a go-to spot for a hearty meal in a setting that harks back to the early 1900s diner experience

Brewer's Row: Located at 3205 N 26th St, amazing place serves up Mexican cuisine in a casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite and a beer. Try the house made bacon biscuits.  

Terry's Office Tavern: A long-standing establishment at 3410 N Proctor St, offering a mix of tavern food like burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. Notable for its unique and flavorful jojos, Terry's provides a cozy atmosphere for casual dining. Currently being remodeled will relaunch soon with a new menu and new dining spaces.

The Spar: Located at 2121 North 30th Street. Just a few blocks from the Old Town dock. The Spar is one of the oldest taverns in Tacoma! The Spar has been the place to go for years. Great sandwiches, soups and a wide range of beverages. Make sure you order Spar Chips for your table!
